Google’s Ad Diagnostics Tool still broken

ad-diagnosticator.png Earlier this month, I was trying to work out why a client's AdWord's campaign was being a bit sluggish. I hovered over the little magnifying glass next to an important keyword and got the message that the ad wasn't showing. Panic started to set in as keyword after keyword was reported as not triggering. But hold on, I said to myself, the minimum bid is a few pence, the maximum CPC is way over £10 yet Google still says it's not enough? How much do those greedy bastards want?

It quickly came apparent that something was wrong with the tool, not the campaign. That was 6th November, and at the time of writing, it's still bust. A thread at Webmasterworld has been following this since (I'm the second poster), but no resolution yet. A long time for such a useful little tool to be out of action.

Update (29/11/07): seems to be fixed now.
